The Log Cabin Republicans sell themselves as the Republican LGBT caucus, which recently had to drop the T. They were fine with adults exploring that lane, but a few years too late, they’ve decided to get a divorce.
No more T.
I guess they’d seen enough grooming and chemical and surgical castration of children to make them go ewww.
Not sure what took so long.
The T people have been at this for longer than we’ve been complaining about the Log Cabin Republicans.
Pre-COVID, you remember COVID, well, before that, whatever it was they were doing in that log cabin tried to get the marriage plank of the NH Republican Platform removed. It’s one of the many things that suggested to us that the mission was not to create a safe space for the LGBT crowd under the Republican tent but to use the LGBT agenda to move Republicans toward the left.
They also “bought” a seat on the NHGOP E-board while the group was pushing for a nationwide ban on Conversion therapy.
Marriage not just between a man and a woman, anti-free speech, the state getting between doctors and mental patients. The left hates marriage and free speech, so check and check, and they have a long history of pretending they want to keep the state out from between you and your doctor while doing everything legislatively possible to make it impossible to keep the government out.
Very progressive Overton window-pushing behavior, in my opinion.
And here they are, many years later, claiming they can’t tolerate the T anymore.
“The transgender movement has ceased focusing on adults at all — nearly all of their efforts and those of their aligned special interest groups focus on minors. They push schools to teach radical gender ideology; they want biological men in women’s sports regardless of the consequences; perhaps most offensively, they support gender reassignment treatments for minors, often without the knowledge or consent of the parents, knowing full well these treatments are mostly irreversible.”
We’re still waiting on some comment regarding the systemic need for adult gay men to groom teenage boys, often supplying them with drugs and alcohol to close the deal. Which ties in with the Minor Attracted Persons (MAP) movement, which is NAMBLA rebranded. The normalization of adults having sex with minors, the one thing they actually share with devout Islamic men who are allowed to marry and have sex with underage girls. The Islamists might toss you off the roof of a very tall “log cabin” if you try it with boys.
I know I’m pushing my Western-Civilization-creating Judeo-Christian ethics on groups who are ostensibly not part of the totalitarian left but have expressed shared values with them. And here they are giving the appearance of protecting children.
It is remotely possible that this very deep-pocketed, “coffee party-like,” Lincoln Project-esque, almost No Labelsy group is just hoping to help us preserve the Constitution, human flourishing, peace, privacy, and the Republic…for posterity. They’ve seen the light, at least on this issue, and that means there’s room for others.
The transgender agenda will, hopefully, be viewed by future historians with the same vitriolic disdain as anyone might for engaging in the mental, chemical, and surgical torture of children.
We are not holding our breath, hoping for something similar from the pedophile cults that continue to find shelter among various political factions in America and around the world.
