Trump Keeps Another Campaign Promise: Recognizes Jerusalem as Israeli Capital

smirking-trumpMr. Trump also plans to move the US embassy to Jerusalem.

“It is time to officially recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel,” Mr. Trump said at the White House. “It is the right thing to do.”

He said the new U.S. embassy “will be a magnificent tribute to peace.” The president said his decision is not intended to derail any chance of peace talks.

“We are not taking a position on any final-status issues,” he said, adding that he intends “to do everything in my power” to facilitate peace talks.

Arabs claim this will hamper the peace process, but I think Mr. Trump accepts that by ‘Peace Process’ they mean no Israeli retaliation for terrorist aggression on the road to a no-state solution. That’s the process by which Israel no longer exists. Instead, Mr. Trump is doubling down on his promise and his support for Israel, which I’m sure includes military back up.

Strange behavior for a “Nazi,” don’t you think, leftists?
