Since Mamdani’s election, New York city dwellers are trying to get gun permits at a MUCH higher rate than previously. Gee, it’s almost like they are getting concerned about him defunding the police or something. However, 1st time buyers are finding that NYC has made it very, very difficult to get a gun permit (unless you are rich or connected, of course), so much so that many just give up & choose NOT to exercise their 2nd Amendment rights. Which is the whole point of the extra red tape. NYC can say “we don’t deny you having a gun, and here’s the way to do it legally”, but the process is so time-consuming & costly that it’s effectively a de-facto gun ban. Except for the criminals, of course, because they can get a gun in hours, without any red tape at all.

Also, the antisemites are “hard at work” protesting outside NYC synagogues. Funny how we can’t say anything against it, for that would be “hate speech”, but it’s OK for them to chant “Kill the Jews” over and over without any consequences. And Mamdani has not even taken office yet! At the bottom of the same article, the NYPD is now “requesting” that female officers wear a head scarf so they don’t offend Muslims. If I were a NYC Jew, I would be packing and planning to move out:

The Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) is opposing the Nationwide Concealed Carry permit. Realize that 29 states already have Constitutional Carry, meaning you don’t need a permit to carry (open or concealed) in that state, and several others are open carry without a permit. However, the ones that don’t (CA, NY, NJ, MA, CN, HI, etc.) are all Dem hell holes where criminals carry all the time (see, they don’t care about the law). Gee, it’s almost like the FOP wants a monopoly on “power from the barrel of a gun”!

She’s OK, he went the hospital and the police arrested him for multiple charges. Something to think about: If Mark Kelley is found guilty of sedition in a court martial, there is a good chance he could be imprisoned for 20+ years (which is effectively a life sentence for him) or he could get the death penalty (don’t laugh, it’s a very real possibility, as the military takes sedition VERY seriously). Either way, it sends a message to the Left: You’re on the losing side. However, a rat is the most dangerous when cornered, and if they really feel threatened, they could “kick off” Civil War 2.0, so keep your head on a swivel.
