Many of the people who flee Taxachusetts, New York, New Jersey, or other tax abusive regulatory states for New Hampshire, too often fail to realize that if they keep voting for the same sort of politicians they’ll get the same lousy outcome they moved here to escape*.
This is also true for immigrants fleeing third world armpits, kleptocracies, and regulatory dictatorships. In the video above, Gloria Alvarez, Project Director at the National Civic Movement of Guatemala, talks about the problem with immigrants, legal or illegal, voting for the same sort of government they just fled.
