Kelly Ayotte has officially refused my challenge to participate in a series of debates between now and the primary. Voters are asking Ayotte staffers, “Why won’t Kelly Ayotte defend her record?” I’d be afraid to debate too if I had Ayotte’s record of voting for fiscal recklessness, open borders, amnesty for illegal aliens, and for trade and immigration policies that are squeezing the middle class.
Her ‘Republican’ credentials would wither under scrutiny. I also suspect she views Jim and his campaign as a distraction. A Black Fly buzzing around her re-assignment to the holy halls down in DC.
