You Want Socialism? Be Prepared to Pay $170.00 for a Hamburger (If you can find one)

VENEZUELA REFERENDUMThe oil-rich nation of Venezuela embraced Chavez, a populist, socialist. In return, he gave them socialism. Socialism gave them the only thing it can, shortages, poverty, desperation, and eventually violence.

Coca-Cola has had to stop operations because it cannot get sugar even though neighboring Brazil is the single largest producer of sugar in the world. Doctors cannot care for the sick and injured even though the left has probably praised Venezuela’s bold and innovative advances in care.

But there is nothing bold or innovative about socialism.

It is monarchical and not much different than the oldest and longest running form of ‘government’ humankind knows. A permanent tyranny by elites who are disconnected from those they rule.

It destroys your institutions, your culture, your history, your economy, consumes your liberty, and replaces it with despotism.

These are the consequences of socialism, as explained by Dr. Sebastian Gorka, who used to live behind the Iron Curtain.

(Breitbart) “This is what happens when you actually create a socialist state,” Gorka elaborated. “This is the recipe. Karl Marx never creates utopias. He creates disasters. Venezuela is the wake-up call to all those millennials who think Bernie’s going to create paradise on Earth.”
