I found the highest resolution photograph of the clock I could. Instantly, I was disappointed. Somewhere in all of this – there has indeed been a hoax. Ahmed Mohamed didn’t invent his own alarm clock. He didn’t even build a clock.

If your sister has been suspended in the past for threatening to blow up the school, and you’d like a little payback with some help form the media, here’s how you can you can “build” a “clock” identical to Ahmed’s, in about 20 seconds. (No Guarantee you’ll get invited to the White House, sorry.)
