Man-made climate chaos is all around us and worsening, if the climate Inquisitors are to be believed. But nature isn’t cooperating with the “settled science™.” Do you recall the “swarms of pestilence and disease” fear-mongering from the Gospel according to Climatism?
Well it’s not happening. At least not in New England.
“It’s fairly unusual,” said Dr. Abigail Mathewson, public health veterinarian for the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services. “Since we started testing in 2000, there haven’t been any years where we haven’t had any detections of EEE and West Nile virus.”
The Eagle Trib reports two cases of West Nile in MA, none in NH, and no EEE cases.
Residents are still cautioned as the season is not over but surveillance to date has produced very few infected mosquitoes. But, but, but Global warming?
We were told the planet we were boiling should have less snow (more snow), more storms (fewer storms), retreating glaciers (except when they are not retreating), vanishing ice-caps (except when they get bigger), fewer polar bears (unless there are more of them), more intense and frequent storms (fewer and further between), diminished crop yields (but not because you paid farmers to turn food into fuel), and biblical swarms of insects spreading viruses without the Bible (and now without the swarms and the viruses).
If it’s not hotter it’s not hotter. If it is hotter, none of their apocalyptic fear-mongering has turned out to be true. “Denier!, the science is settled. It’s not our fault that you are too daft to understand the unsettled nature of ‘settled.’ ”
Admit it, it’s a cult.
Update: As if on cue within days of the Lawrence Trib article, we get push back:
CONCORD — A batch of mosquitoes in Manchester recently tested positive for West Nile virus, according to the state Department of Health and Human Services. It is the first batch to test positive so far this year.
West Nile virus, along with eastern equine encephalitis, are viruses transmitted from the bite of an infected mosquito.
West Nile was first identified in New Hampshire in August 2000. The Public Health Lab has tested 3,048 mosquito batches, two animals, and 46 people so far this season for both viruses.
So far, none has tested positive for EEE.
Still no epidemic, plague, or pestilence. We’ll keep you posted.
