Gov. Hassan has threatened to veto the state budget but..“If you look at the past history of (New Hampshire) governors vetoing budgets…they all lost their next election.”
The New Hampshire state budget gets a final vote in the Republican-majority Legislature this week, a deal hammered out between the chambers in a committee of conference. But it does not include key priorities of the state’s Democratic governor and she has threatened a veto, leaving the government unfunded after June 30.
