Concerned Veterans for America Convenes VA Reform Summit in Manchester
Participants Include Rep. Frank Guinta, CVA Legislative Director Dan Caldwell, and Expert Panelists Discussing Veterans Independence Act on March 9

Manchester, NH – Today, Concerned Veterans for America (CVA) announced it will be hosting VA Reform Summit in Manchester on Monday, March 9th, at 10:00am at the New Hampshire Institute of Politics located on the campus of Saint Anselm College.

The purpose of the local VA Reform Summit in Manchester is to discuss the veteran-centric, expert-driven set of policy proposals from CVA’s Fixing Veterans Health Care Taskforce, designed to dramatically improve health care delivery for veterans. The panel will discuss and analyze policy recommendations made by the CVA-led Taskforce.

“Concerned Veterans for America is excited to be in Manchester sharing our newly-released Fixing Veterans Health Care Taskforce Report and the Veterans Independence Act, which proposes bold reforms to veterans’ health care in the wake of the recent VA scandal,” said Dan Caldwell, Legislative and Political Director at CVA. “Speakers will highlight key solutions identified in the Veterans Independence Act, including addressing the structure of the VHA, creating a private insurance option, and increasing transparency at the VA. The meaningful, veteran-centric proposals are the next step in reforming veterans’ health care and we look forward to this distinguished panel of experts contributing to the discussion.”

All who are concerned about the future of veterans’ health care are strongly encouraged to attend this free event to learn more about the proposals. A question and answer session will follow the speakers’ remarks. The event is open to the public and press attendance is welcome.
