We are well on our way into the New Year, and we’ve got things that need upgrading. Our search feature is lousy, and we’ve got some site redesign and upkeep issues to address, so we’re running a fundraiser to help offset some of these costs.
The goal is to raise as close to $5,000.00 dollars as possible most of which will be directed toward web design labor hours. If you are willing and able to assist us in reaching this goal, there are a few ways you can contribute.
You can go to our Donate Page and click the Donate Graphic. This allows you to use a credit card to make a one-time donation or to sign up for a monthly donation or subscription.
If you hate PayPal’s guts or just feel more comfortable sending a check, you can email us at editor@GraniteGrok.com, and we will let you know where to send that.
Another way you can help us raise money is by sharing links to our articles on other forums, websites, and with search aggregators. We have a content-sharing deal with Whatfinger.com, but pages like Liberty Daily, and others, allow you to submit links you think might interest them.
Any site that gets more traffic than ours that shares our links (backlinks) improves our page and domain authority, and that helps us attract more sponsored content and puts a few more coins in the ad revenue jar every month.

Finally, and this is the most important part, thank you for showing up, reading, commenting, and sharing. We truly appreciate that you choose to spend some of your valuable time here, and we’re hoping to improve the experience part of which includes completing that mysterious and fantastical App we’ve been promising, which will not have the pop-up or edge ads that cluster the mobile experience.
I want that option available as soon as we’re able, but things keep getting in our way (like those mobile ads), but we’ll get there. We are also looking at an ad-free VIP option that will cost a bit of scratch to build but would be available to all of our monthly subscribers.
We just need the time and the money, so here we are, trying to raise some to get us closer to these goals.
