Back in the autumn of 2008 every Democrat worth their party scripted narrative was trumpeting “Obama’s” choice of Joe Biden as his running mate. Joe Biden, a guy who had run for president without ever managing to get more than 4% of his own Democrat primary-voting base to choose him over any other Democrat, was the obvious choice (we were told) for the young, inexperienced Obama.
What inexperience was it that Joe Biden was chosen to augment? Do you remember?
