Asked at what point the president had been made aware that he once rode an elevator with an armed criminal who had three assaults on his record, Earnest proclaimed that Obama found out about it — wait for it — ON THE NEWS.
Note: The story seems to be that it was actually because the White House would have learned about it from the news if Pierson hadn’t come clean.
