Seagulls New Endangered Species? Must Be The Global Warming.

It’s almost mid-June and there are icebergs floating around in Lake Superior.

DNR Marine Warden Amie Egstad spotted the floating ice – which was covered in resting seagulls – while doing a routine check of commercial nets in the largest of the Great Lakes.

The Bush administration has promised to come back long enough to see the picture of the seagulls on the ice and declare them endangered.  CNN will have something to talk about for a few weeks.  Beyonce and Jay-Z will hold a fundraiser.  And Obama’s EPA will likely view this as scientific evidence to justify a ban on every source of energy except for rubber-band power, (with waivers for Democrats, a few Republicans (wink-wink), and terrorists in Guantanamo–we wouldn’t want their Brie to spoil, now would we?)
