SB 244 Is Dead

I’ve been mighty busy today so thanks to everyone, and there are a few of you, who emailed me to give me the news.  SB 244 is dead.

SB 244 was an abomination disguised as a mental health bill, meant to appease the left’s illogical and incoherent hatred of the right to self-defense.  I was filled with flaws and traps, and as its desperate sponsors and supporters tacked amendments to it only got worse.

It is dead.  The NH House ITL’d it.  May it stay dead. (Beware zombie versions in coming sessions…)

Now for tomorrow –  SB 120 is due for yet another hearing to determine its future in the New Hampshire House.  May it die as well.

Careful - That candy cane's loaded!

Update: I fixed this typo but it was too funny not to share…  “meant to appease the left’s illogical and incoherent hatred of the right to elf-defense.”  To my credit, if there were elves, they would be entitled to self defense, and Democrats would be opposed to it.
