My first thought, upon hearing the news that Democrat David Campbell will not be running for re-election, was that with the AG’s report on the cover-up that became Duck Gate due out this week, he might have gotten wind of the outcome.
Whatever the thinking, we will miss the ducks, the next NH Republican legislature should repeal the gas tax Campbell loves as soon as they get the chance–because it is cruel to tax regular Americans in this crappy, inflationary economy instead of cutting other spending to find money for roads and bridges, and yes–it is time to say Buh-Bye.
And as soon as we get our hands on the AG’s report, we’ll be all over it like Campbell’s BMW on Ducks at the Crown Plaza Hotel.
