Like many of us in Liberal Bob Odell’s State Senate District 8, I am disappointed that our Senator is devoting so much time trying to find new ways to raise taxes on the hard-working people in New Hampshire.  You’d have thought that voting to expand Obamacare was enough.

It was not.

In his never-ending quest to grow the size of State Government Bob Odell continues to search for new taxes, fees, penalties, and assessments to further burden us.  In a statement today Odell said, “one option lawmakers could explore is to expand the tax to health care providers such as private laboratories, radiology services and ambulatory surgery centers.”

Those additional costs would inevitably be passed on to those who need these services.

We need a Senator that knows whose money is being spent.  A State Senator who understands that in times like these we should restrain state spending and state programs not look for more ways to milk small business owners and family budgets.

As your State Senator, I will not raise taxes on the hard-working people of New Hampshire.
