When Spying on everyone without their consent just isn’t enough?

The “A Safer Ohio” app for both Apple and Android devices is being released shortly before the one-year anniversary of the Boston Marathon bombings on April 15.

The app now available for free online allows Ohioans to relay both tips and photos of questionable activity to Homeland Security analysts for examination and potential investigation. Here’s a YouTube video on how the app works.

What exactly might Homeland (or anyone who downloads this app) consider questionable activity? Conspicuous carry? Donating money to a conservative group? Wearing an NRA or gun-group t-shirt? Having a Don’t Tread on Me bumper sticker? Handing out copies of the US Constitution or Declaration of Independence? Stopping to listen at a second amendment rally?
