Democrats Admit To Their Own Economic Incompetence

Nothing says total economic failure like a political party (Democrats), which has crooned endlessly about its effort to create good paying jobs for American families, having to use the force of law to make wages go up.

In times of real economic growth labor increases in value as business owners compete for the resource.  This means that they are willing to pay more for your time because there are more jobs than people interested in filling them.  I’ve managed businesses that hire unskilled minimum wage employees and seen it at work.  Regardless of the state or federal wage minimum, employers will offer more money for less-skilled workers, spend more time (and more of their own money) training them, and increase their wages if they perform without any prompting from clueless left-wing, nanny-state busy-bodies.

So as New Hampshire Democrats enter act three of The Progressive Players Production of “A Real Economic American Tragedy” (along with their Federal masters), understand that the demand for an increase in the minimum wage is nothing more than a searing indictment on their utter incompetence.
