Texans Must Reelect Ken Paxton

Time after time, in every election many politicians promise everything, and once elected deliver very little or nothing. Ken Paxton has been a welcome exception throughout his tenure.

He has been doing everything in his power to protect Texas since he became the Texas Attorney General in January 2015 when he took the oath of office, becoming Texas’s 51st Attorney General. General Paxton reminded everyone:

“We stand on the side of right and we will never stop fighting to protect this state and the people who proudly call it home.”

He has kept Texas safe from the Biden administration and “federal government overreach.”

“Paxton, as the state’s top law enforcement officer, lead more than 4,000 employees in 38 divisions and 117 offices around Texas. That includes nearly 750 attorneys, who handle more than 30,000 cases annually.”

Most of us agree that politics is an outlandish craft. Irrespective of any and all, you always have political enemies that want nothing more than your jugular ripped apart.
Personally, I have known Ken nearly fifteen years. He has been the same person I met then as the person he is now, as he told me almost fifteen years ago:
“I tell people that I have not given up on America or on the founder’s vision. I tell them that Texas does not need to give up but rather lead the fight for freedom.”
In the last election season, Ken had no Republican challengers. But now, he has three. George P. Bush, former Supreme Court Justice Eva Gomez and East Texas congressperson Louie Gohmert. Paxton is perhaps the most conservative and popular Attorney General, Texas has ever had. Then why these Republicans are determined to unseat him? Well, it is obvious that they have an agenda!!

Mark Jones, a political science fellow at the Baker Institute at Rice University said: “Those three candidates have a twofold goal. First and foremost, they need to keep Ken Paxton under 50% on March 1st, thus forcing a May runoff. The second is that one of them wants to be in second place behind Paxton.”

Well, good luck with that. Not only is Paxton extremely popular with folks in Texas for keeping Texas safe, but former President Trump has endorsed him numerous times.
“Attorney General Ken Paxton has been bravely on the front line in the fight for Texas, and America, against the vicious and very dangerous Radical Left Democrats, and the foolish and unsuspecting RINOs that are destroying our Country,” Trump said in an email. “Ken is strong on Crime, Border Security, the Second Amendment, Election Integrity and, above all, our Constitution.”

On another occasion, the former President said:

“It is going to take a PATRIOT like Ken Paxton to advance America First policies in order to Make America Great Again, Ken has my Complete and Total Endorsement for another term as Attorney General of Texas. He is a true Texan who will keep Texas safe—and will never let you down.”

Both George P. Bush and Eva Gomez are lightweights and are not serious contenders, but what is Rep. Louie Gohmert’s agenda to suddenly jump in this race? He has been away from Texas for twenty years and has not practiced law for almost the same length of time. So, what is his real motive to enter this race now? He could have easily challenged Senator John Cornyn who is very unpopular in Texas and most likely would have won!

Perhaps we should find our answer in the DC swamp.

Let us keep in mind that there are not many differences among the D.C. Beltway elitist class politicians of either party. The elitists have crafted their own version of the universe and want you to see our world through their lenses, political deception, and tactics that they have prescribed for us to see. Political elitists despise patriotic Americans as they did the Tea Party activists. They have carefully manufactured smoke and mirrors for their subjects where citizens think and act as though they have political choices, thus perpetuating the myth of democratic participation.

While serving as the Texas Attorney General, Ken Paxton defended dozens of lawsuits related to election fraud and COVID mandates. “Ken Paxton sued the Biden Administration over an unconstitutional vaccine mandate being imposed on the Texas Army National Guard and the Texas Air National Guard.”

“Ken Paxton, along with Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt, has submitted a motion for a preliminary injunction to force the Biden administration to restart construction on the southern border wall.” Ken Paxton with other Attorney Generals, again suing the Biden administration over Southern border policy. “Ken Paxton filed a lawsuit against the Biden administration over the Central American Minors (CAM) Refugee and Parole Program” and many more.

Paxton is running on his own record as Attorney General—a record that includes challenging the Biden administration in court and guarding religious freedom.

Democrats wanted to open the elections to mail-in ballots and ID-free elections and sued Texas to institute these unconstitutional practices in our elections. Ken and his office won every single one of these cases and prevented Democrats from stealing Texas as they did in Georgia and Arizona and many other states.

At a time when both parties and too many activist judges play politics and refuse to defend our constitutional rights, Ken Paxton’s strong stance was particularly timely. Then why Republicans are going after him? My thought: it’s all about politics.

Rep. Louie Gohmert has become a Washington elitist. He is known to be good friends with another Texas swamp creature, Karl Rove. Karl Rove and the Bushes despise Ken Paxton. They will do anything and at all cost to remove Texas’s best Attorney General from office. Even if it means using Rep. Louie Gohmert to do their dirty deeds.

Texans must reelect Attorney General Ken Paxton, he has earned it.
