This is a brilliant display of the Liberal mindset. The only thing missing is that we are all tied to that same tree – with our own personal nooses.
Cared for in earnest since the early 1900’s, this Liberal-nurtured tree is nearly grown. When will the expanding branches take the tips of our struggling feet off the ground, leaving us choking and clawing at the rope around our neck? For some it has already begun; for others, the end will come in short order. Our children have slightly longer ropes, but are not endless. And every new child has their own rope attached, the day they are born.
One cannot help but hope that this tree is hit by lightning or taken down in a violent storm, because the very people tied to it continue to cry for more watering – and those tasked with cutting the ropes criminally stand by and watch.
