Gun Manufacturer PTR Industries is leaving Connecticut for South Carolina and taking most of its’ 140 employees with it. The move will take about three years but their gone and gone.
At least Governor Dannel Malloy wont have to worry about those unemployment numbers. Maybe that will leave him more time to think about important things like how to replace all that lost tax revenue, or which gun manufacturer will be next to pull up stakes.
Closing observation. The article said 41 states approached PTR to offer them refuge within their borders. Anyone want to bet that Maggie Hassen didn’t put New Hampshire on that list?
