In Islamic thought, the world is divided in two. There is the realm that is submissive to Allah, dar al’Islam, and then there is everywhere else. That ‘everywhere else’ is referred to as dar al’harb, the realm of war. So there are two choices; Submission, or war. It sounds like a fairy tale, outside the realm of modern thinking, so much so that more than a few people who should know better have chosen to ignore it even when belligerent Islamist radicals have sworn that they seek war with us until we submit. Honestly, how many times must you be told that they desire your submission by whatever means possible, before you believe them?
Now consider this. Modern Progressive thought seeks a secular equivalent to the global Umma. A centrally planned utopia managed by its”experts,” complete with the bullying, intolerance and intimidation, the silencing of opposing political speech, law by autocratic decree, an elite ruling class, armed bureaucratic enforcers, militarized police, domestic spying (including ratting out your freinds and neighbors), indefinite detention, Dhimmitude, an obsessive desire to limit freedoms and impose their laws upon everyone-everywhere, and harsh punishments for those who fail or refuse to fall in line with their secularist political dogma.
dar al’harb.
