Ask Gov. Sununu to Veto the Latest Rail Boondoggle (603) 271-2121.

Written as a deliberate violation of the State Constitution SB241 wants to break the law to fund transportation infrastructure we don’t need that will forever suck resources from more pressing priorities. Those would be any other priority you can imagine.

It’s commuter rail. That boutique partisan boondoggle to which the Left can’t stop clinging.

I called it the MBTA money pit for New Hampshire.

New Hampshire gains nothing from a progressive fad that would suck up resources for the benefit of a fraction of one percent of the state’s citizens. The answers is a definitive no. A million times, no. It is not more important than any other priority.

There is no sustainable upside beyond a partisan victory on what amounts to a vanity project. Even if you are a smitten bride waiting at the Climate Cult altar; the money wasted to develop and sustain commuter rail for New Hampshire could be wasted far more effectively on any other number of your dopey projects.

The only rail we need is rail that can pay for its own engineering, surveys, and carry its own freight – which is to say freight rail.

This isn’t Europe. It isn’t even Boston. There is no practical application for 99% of Granite Staters unless the goal is to flush their precious tax dollars down a hole no one will even bother to stand around. If you burned your money in a dumpster at least you’d get to enjoy a little bit of heat.

Please call the governor’s office today and ask him to Veto SB241.  (603) 271-2121.
