The Negron campaign just sent out a press release regarding Republican Congressional Candidate Steve Negron’s Straw poll victory last night in Hopkinton, New Hampshire.
A new or newly reorganized Republican town committee in Hopkinton had “GOP” candidates or their representatives by (for the Republican Primary to challenge Ann Kuster in NH CD-2) to address the attendees who then voted in a Straw Poll.
Steve Negron won, Lynne Blankenbecker came in second, and Stewart Levenson, who is from Hopkinton, came in last.

Steve Negron Has Decisive Victory in Hopkinton GOP Straw Poll
Nashua, NH – As reported by WMUR and picked up by additional New Hampshire reporters, Steve Negron decidedly won the Hopkinton GOP Straw Poll last night in a contest among the three Republican candidates for New Hampshire’s 2nd Congressional District.
With 49% of the vote, Steve Negron of Nashua defeated Stewart Levenson of Hopkinton and Lynn Blankenbeker of Concord by 27% and 22%, respectively.
Steve Negron released the following statement:“If we want to defeat Congresswoman Anne Kuster and bring back NH-02’s voice to Washington, our nominee must build a strong team with a presence in every corner of the district. I believe that grassroots campaigns win elections, which is why I am so proud to have decidedly won the first straw poll of this campaign. Momentum is growing, and I look forward to working hard every single day to ensure victory.”
