Have you signed up for your Obamacare coverage for 2018? Well, have you? I haven’t. The Affordable Care Act isn’t affordable. But open enrollment is upon us, and it’s time to run the numbers for another year (already done, thank you), and Senator Shaheen wants you to know it.
From her Halloween email, sent from her official account and not her campaign account:
“…November 1st, through December 15th, you have the opportunity to sign up for a new health insurance plan or change your existing plan through the Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare. Despite the many attempts by President Trump and Republican leadership to repeal Obamacare, it remains the law of the land….
“The Trump administration has been trying to keep Granite Staters in the dark about this important signup period by slashing open enrollment advertising by 90 percent, cutting the open enrollment period in half and defunding support staff that assist with signing up. So, friends, it’s up to each of us to get the word out to family members and friends that the enrollment period is about to get underway.”
Consider yourself informed. You’re welcome.
I have more to say over at Da Tech Guy Blog about this interesting message from our senior Senator.
