We’ve been doing this long enough to know that some percentage of the audience will cave when the progressive Bandersnatch comes calling. You’ll be all haughty, repeal-Obamacare, defend the Constitution and all that until the Democrats start calling you names and suddenly you are talking about bi-partisan this and crossing the aisle that.
You know who you are, and so do we. So, with that in mind, as a public disservice, we’re sharing a copy of the University of Minnesota’s Non-Binary Pronoun guide so that when you sell out at least you will be doing that right.
For the record, we won’t be using any of these in our writing except for satirical purposes (with the exception of They/Them/Theirs) or when they are part of an actual word like co-dependent, zeitgeist, eminent domain or –well, you get the idea.
