President Trump is Obama’s Legacy

smirking-trumpThere’s a great article from the New York Post linked here, that paints the evolving Democrat dilemma.

For Republicans, luck can’t get much better. While Clinton and Pelosi were hardly innocent bystanders in the historic rout of Democrats at every level of government, the main culprit was Obama.

It was Obamaism, more than Clintonism or Pelosism, that elected Donald Trump and gave the GOP both houses of Congress. The former president’s coercive liberalism at home and appeasement abroad led to the greatest upset in American politics.

Obama is trying to get back into the spotlight, and as the NYP points out, Obama is why we have Trump. The Donald put America first where Obama put her last. He identified National Security and Immigration policy as keys concerns of regular Americans and blue collar Democrats. And he went after the media head-on. No spineless pandering. No going gentle into that goodnight.

Democrats divided, insulted, and victimized. Trump promised to make America Great again.

The Democrats are still running the old playbook and Obama is back with the book open to page one.

So the Democrat problems are enormous and will get worse before they get better; s ix months (or is it 16) of hating on Trump hasn’t gotten them very far, and they don’t have anything else expect Pelosi, Clinton, and Obama, all of whom represent much of what America tried to get rid of when the elected Trump.

The longer it takes them to figure it out, the better it is for America.
