Have you heard of benevolent sexism? That’s the idea that permits any act by a man towards a woman to be construed as another patriarchal bar in the sexist prison. Holding a door. Offering assistance of any sort. Romantic love. These are all culturally internalized sexist acts by men toward women. Bastards.
So what about benevolent inequality? I just made that up. It is when well-meaning members of a political class or their water carriers use government force in the name of equality that creates inequality.
There’s probably plenty of research into that already under different names like The Democrat Party Platform, Socialism, Communism, Syndicalism, Fascism, Diversity, and Social Justice Studies, or just about anything that passes for intellectual thought from the left.
Another term for it might be Benevolent Tyranny.
