Democrat National Candidates “No longer look like America.”

National Democrat Candidates Don't look like America
Do these Democrat national candidates…look like America?

Jeff Chidester has some random thoughts regarding tonight’s Democrat Debate (posted on Facebook), …

Random Thought Two Regarding tonight’s debate. The average age of the democratic candidates 63. All the democratic candidates are white, and 5 of the 6 candidates have spent at least 20 years in politics. One of the candidates is a woman. Only one served in the military.

The average age of the GOP candidates is 53. One is a woman, one is African-American, one is Indian- American, two are Latino, three speak Spanish, two served in the military, 3 have never held political office, two are doctors.

That reminded me of something Victor Davis Hanson brings up here.

“Columnists between 2008 and 2012 ad nauseam berated Republicans on the grounds that their national candidates “no longer looked like America.

Note also that the the relief Democrat candidates are also old and white–some older and whiter– so their bench doesn’t even “look like America” circa 2008-2012 Democrat/media narratives.

But don’t expect the unbiased media to make much noise about that.
