Sleepless in Seattle?

Income trigger warning.

A certain class of nearly-doing-well-enoughs are concerned that recent wage justice victories in Seattle will trigger income thresholds in a variety of government subsidies that will result in those free-rides being discontinued. They are asking their employers for fewer hours so they can keep their government handouts.

Yes indeed. Seattle’s best only work to supplement their dole. If they get paid too well, income ceilings on HUD programs and other such nuisances kick in. They have to work less hard if they want someone else to make both of their ends meet. Barack Obama must be so proud. This is exactly the America he has been working so hard to create.
