Rachel Dolezal Resigns

Dolezal1Rachel Dolezal Resigned yesterday as president of the Spokane chapter of the NAACP.

Federalist

“It is with complete allegiance to the cause of racial and social justice and the NAACP that I step aside from the Presidency and pass the baton to my Vice President, Naima Quarles-Burnley,” Dolezal wrote.

Dolezal, who is a professor of Africana Studies at Eastern Washington University, also wrote in her resignation letter that she believes “challenging the construct of race is at the core of evolving human consciousness.”

Why don’t we start with convincing Democrats to stop using race to divide us.  How about that?
