Jeanne Shaheen Voted to Repeal The First Amendment

FREE SPEECH ZONEJeanne Shaheen recently voted to make dissent illegal.   She, and 47 other US Senators, all Democrats, moved to empower congress to decide what, when, where, and how often, someone could engage in dissent. (aka; political speech they do not like.)

Democrats in New Hampshire were predictably mum.  No outrage.  But why would they be outraged?  They’ve been trying to silence dissent for years.

The Democrat objection to the TEA party is not just ideological–most Democrats have no clue what the TEA Party supports.  They have been told that the TEA Party opposes something Democrats want so they must be silenced.

Their objection to the Free State Project is no different.  Many in the FSP support a wide range of items on the Democrat bucket list.  But they also object to some things Democrats want even more.  So they are cast as shady villains in the left’s political theater, blacklisted, smeared in the court of public opinion, and whenever possible….silenced.

To the Democrat political dissent, speech in opposition to their agenda, is the equivalent of treason.

Senator Shaheen is no stranger to silencing dissent.

Democrats pushing the measure to repeal free speech pretend that it is a campaign-finance measure, but the only criteria it establishes for Congress to ban an advertisement — or a book, or a film, or a television show, or a magazine — is that money is expended in an attempt to influence a political outcome. – NRO

Democrats spend billions on speech to influence political outcomes.  They get billions more in free candidate and issue advocacy from print and television media corporations.  And still, it is not enough.   People continue to object to their political message.

This dissent that must be silenced.

Shaheen signed two letter to the IRS as part of a Senatorial flanking maneuver in support of the White House and it’s IRS targeting scheme– to silence dissent.  Nothing McCarthyesque about using the government to silence political opponents , which they still insist they did not do,  but just in case they are destroying hard-drives, erasing evidence, hiding witnesses, using a different amendment to prevent testimony, and using money as speech to influence a political outcome by engaging (ironically) in political dissent to that Republican IRS witch-hunt.

And did I mention? Jeanne Shaheen voted to repeal the first amendment.

Who does that serve?

Jeanne Shaheen.
