Hillary Clinton has redistributed $14 million dollars from Simon & Schuster to herself. That’s how much they paid her in advance for her book deal.
The publisher shipped one million copies of the book to retailers in advance of the publication date but have only sold 60,000 copies (and 24,000 ebooks).
Expectations for a massive financial loss on the part of this publisher appear imminent and Clinton has proven to be a train wreck on her book tour.
(Insert your ‘like another Clinton Presidency’ metaphors here.)
But Hillary has her $14 million–and if she defended free markets for eveyone else I’d applaud her–so the only Hard Choice she has to make now is where and how to spend it. Might I suggest a ‘nice’ home? I know. At this point, what difference does it make?
