Yee of Little Faith

One of anti-gun Democrat Leland Yee’s “colleagues”

Yesterday we reported on California state Senator Leland Yee, who was arrested for bribery and corruption charges.   Turns out he has a bigger problem.  He is also being charged with gun-running.

Specifically conspiring with known organized crime lord Kwok Cheung “Shrimp Boy” Chow to illegally import firearms and sell them without a license . .

The affidavit charges that the $2 million worth of weapons to have been secreted into the country from the Philippines included rocket launchers and machine guns, some of which Yee himself had fired while on Mindanao.

A portion of the weapons Yee conspired to bring into the U.S. through New Jersey were to have been forwarded on to North Africa via Sicily.

Yee is an anti-gun California Democrat, who said that death threats…”will not deter him from moving forward with gun control proposals in the Legislature.

“I want to make it crystal clear – these threats and any others will not deter me and my colleagues from addressing the critical issues surrounding gun violence,”

And I bet there is nothing in Yee’s legislation to stop corrupt hypocritical Democrats from disarming law-abiding citizens while profiting from illegally arming crime lords with machine guns and rocket launchers.

That’s actually a feature of every piece of Democrat anti-gun legislation because criminals don’t trouble themselves with the limiting-power of any law. Come to think of it, neither does President Obama.
