Peggy Gilmour and BDSM

Ok.  I’m sorry if the title of this post puts an image into your head that is so disturbing that you need to drink it away – but the connection is worth mentioning.

I had the unfortunate experience of watching a sex video that really irritated me.  It irritated me because, not only was it paid for with some tax dollars, but it also shows a trend that horrifies me for the sake of my yet-to-be-born grandchildren and the world they might live in.

And New Hampshire Senator Peggy Gilmour fully supports the organization that put this video together (she’s also one of the prime sponsors of the pending Senate Bill 413, which plans to expand Medicaid in New Hampshire, further entrenching Obamacare).

Peggy’s a prize worth treasuring, isn’t she?

The video in question is embedded below.  It is sort of a PSA piece for “BDSM“, which stands for “Bondage and Discipline, Dominance and Submission, Sadism and Masochism” and is part of a Planned Parenthood of Northern New England (PPNNE) series called “Naked Notion“.  The young (obnoxious) woman in the video, 23 year old Laci Green, who casually explains the ins-and-outs of BDSM (as part of “October being Kink month”), was clearly chosen because of her notoriety as the mastermind behind “Sex+“, a YouTube sex-education channel.  Laci, who is an ex-Mormon atheist from the San Francisco area, hosts and produced this video (and all others in this series) and describes herself as a “sexuality geek”.  She also declares that her “main driver in life is social justice”.  No doubt that UC Berkeley is proud of their product.  She is also a “peer sex educator” at “Bay Area High Schools”.

Other videos in the “Naked Notion” series include “Abortion Options“, “Problems with Penises“, “Squirters“, “Multiple Orgasms (A Guide)“, “Halloween Slut Shame“, “Comin’ Out (Bisexuality)“, and “Your Anal Sex Questions Answered“.

Hey, I’m a Conservative Libertarian and I feel that what people (adults) choose to do in their own bedrooms is fine. But clearly, this video, with its quirky Nickelodeon/MTV presentation, is geared toward teens in middle and high school, not adults.  And the sponsor of this video series, Planned Parenthood of Northern New England, receives our tax dollars…$2.57 million in 2012, to be exact.

New Hampshire Senator Peggy Gilmour is a proud supporter of Planned Parenthood of Northern New England.  I guess that’s because they endorsed her and contributed to her campaign.  Fashion Tip for Peggy: 80-year-old women don’t look good with the blonde streaks.

I’m also dying to know if Peggy has ever watched the “Problem With Penises” entry?  I’m sure several 13-year-old middle school girls in her hometown of Hollis, NH, have.

Go ahead, Senator, scoff.  We know that you will.

Note: PPNNE also endorsed and funded the campaigns of: Governor Maggie Hassan, Senator Molly KellySenator Bette LaskySenator Sylvia Larsen, Senator Lou D’Allesandro, Senator Andrew Hosmer, Senator Martha Fuller Clark, Executive Councilor Debora Pignatelli, and lone Republican Senator Bob Odell (who should be drummed out of the Republican Party, today).  What a fine bunch we have in Concord.
