Stella Tremblay Resigns

Stella Tremblay has resigned and everyone seems happy about that.

“The New Hampshire Republican State Committee made it very clear that Representative Tremblay was unfit for public office and not welcome in our party,” chairwoman Jennifer Horn said. “We are glad to see her go.”

It’s kind of sad, actually.  I think Stella should have toughed it out.  Of course, it must have been a bitch seeing as the state Party is ‘Glad to see you go.’  I’m not sure they even say that about Democrats.

On a happier note, this next part makes me very happy.  The NH Democrat party just played the “they are all guilty for not denouncing her” card.  Thank you so much.  Prepare to be buried in your own hypocrisy.  Here’s their hypocritical screed, I mean statement.

“Republican Representative Stella TrembIay was an embarrassment to her constituents and to the entire State of New Hampshire, her resignation was long past due,” the statement read. “It is telling that while Rep. Tremblay has finally resigned, there has yet to be any kind of condemnation from Senator Kelly Ayotte, Republican Majority Leader Jeb Bradley, or Republican Senate President Peter Bragdon for her vile and chilling comments. Under their leadership the New Hampshire Republican Party has become synonymous with radical Tea Party extremism, and there has been an epidemic of shockingly inappropriate behavior by New Hampshire Republicans.”

Emphasis mine.

Well.  Good to know we’re playing that game again.  I like that game.  I like it a lot.  It means that every Democrat is responsible for everything every other Democrat says.  It’s as if they just handed me free blog material all the way to Novemebr 2014.

Thank you so much.  Now, where do I begin?
