Molon Labe…Mr. President

by Tom

Can’t verify if this is real (sure looks it, but would this be possible?).  Either way, it is highly appropriate.  If you don’t know what Molon Labe means yet, read the definition.

It is entirely possible. There is one certainty throughout the History of the Secret Service protecting the President. That certainty is that holes can always be found in Presidential Security….at all levels….So getting a Molan Labe Sticker on the presidential limo is a doable act….I admit…I saw this and loved it. Made my day.

“It is Latin for “Come and take them”” Wrong! Try Greek. Gotta love it when the authors of these little articles can’t get the basic facts right.

      and just for you, Bill….????????? ??? ?? ????????!

It was the AP that got it wrong, Bill…NOT US (Tom V.). Nothing like adding breadth and Depth in commenting, ay, Bill?

Its greek. King Leonidas replied with this when Xerxes demanded the Spartans surrender during the Persian invasion. These events have been popularized by the graphic novel and film “300″.
