Not to be Outdone by the Catholic Kid, Devin Nunes Sues CNN for $435,350,000

It was quite common for checkout counter rags like the Star or the Enquirer to get sued for making stuff up. Alien pregnancies, exploding priests, politicians, and celebrities exposed. Some of it was news. Most of it was crap. That’s today’s CNN.

They have been reduced to an organization that is content to “print whatever sells” and absorb lawsuit awards as a line item under the cost of doing business.

The more famous recent example is Covington kid Nick Sandmann. He sued CNN for defamation and $275,000.000.00. Small change compared to what Congressman Devin Nunes has just unloaded in his own lawsuit against the leading name in fake news, CNN.

Rep. Devin Nunes filed a defamation lawsuit against CNN in federal court on Tuesday in which he is seeking $435,350,000 in damages.

The California Republican alleges that CNN – which the lawsuit describes as “the mother of fake news” – published a “demonstrably false hit piece” on him when it reported on Nov. 22 that a lawyer for Lev Parnas, an indicted associate of President Donald Trump’s lawyer Rudy Giuliani, said his client was willing to testify that Nunes met with last year with a former Ukrainian prosecutor in Vienna in an effort to get dirt on former Vice President Joe Biden.

CNN even has something in there about Nunes being in Prague to meet with suspicious characters. Nunes says he has proof of where he was and it was not Prague. But you know who was in Prague? George Nader. Yes, the latest convicted Clinton, Friend/Pedophile, to be indicted.

Nader was convicted by Prague’s Municipal Court of 10 cases of sexually abusing minors and sentenced to a one-year prison term in May 2003, said Marketa Puci, the court spokeswoman.

Nader is being charged with campaign finance violations (among other things) for funneling illegal cash contributions to Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign.

I didn’t look, but I bet there isn’t a lot of wall-to-wall coverage on Nader’s connections to Clinton but then CNN has always been the Clinton News Network. So, we wouldn’t expect this DNC propaganda arm to cover anything that might be detrimental to them or the Democrat party.

Nunes, however, is an enemy of the Future Socialist State of America, so if CNN can’t find dirt on him, they’ll create it, which they did. But it might cost them. I wouldn’t want to cross Nunes. He does not strike me as the sort of Republican who just lays down when the DC machine or its mouthpieces growl.

Let’s see how that works out for them.
