Sexist, Racist Leftist Gillibrand for President… Really?

Kirsten Gillibrand

Don’t you just love it when leading Leftists like Kirsten Gillibrand, senator from New York, lamented the fact that three white men are leading the polls to be her party’s presidential nominee in 2020? It seems there is too much, not just white privilege, but white male privilege. That is nothing, if not both racist and sexist. Sorry, Kirsten, it is what it is. Have you listened to yourself?

What’s the Leftist’s message?

Gillibrand has a message, which she articulated in a CNN interview recently where she said something to the effect that she aspires for our country to recognize the beauty of our diversity at some point in the future, and she hopes someday we have a woman president. So it seems that facts such as segregation is largely gone in America except for self-imposed segregation by minorities, that preference lawsuits are now between minorities for pecking order position, that Census figures show women exceed men in college enrollment and have done so since the early 1980s just don’t matter. But facts do matter; as does truth.

The senator also recognized the importance of racial diversity in the party, saying something like; I love the fact that Barack Obama was our president for eight years. I hope more people of color, not only aspire, and win the presidency, because that’s what makes America so extraordinary, that we are all of that. We are everything, and I think a more inclusive America is a stronger America. The problem with Gillibrand’s position isn’t that she is in favor of any given person for president. The problem is that she’s a racist; she’s for the person because of the color of their skin not the content of their character or their ability.

What’s a better answer?

Affirmative action does not seem to be enough for Gillibrand and her ilk. It is time to end discrimination in America. Affirmative action promotes discrimination. Reverse discrimination is just as evil as any other discrimination. What’s worse it has been legitimized through legalization. Ending discrimination cannot happen, will not happen, while we are considering racists and sexists to serve as president. That’s the truth. Deal with it.

Conclusion:

We need to return America to the principles and values of her constitution. The U.S. Constitution is a set of aspirational goals with a structure to guide our actions. We need to end preferences, quotas, identity politics, and victimhood. We need to return to equal opportunity for all; not preference, not guaranteed outcomes. We need to be a place where there is equal protection under the law. Isn’t that what we all want?
