Yeah – the height of Prudence? As a careful steward of taxpayer money and sensibility? No, something more akin to a teenager with a forged drivers license and Dad’s filched credit card having just about to walk into a bar (e.g., about to become a drunken sailor, without the sailor title).

Kathleen Sgambati added a new, $10 million unfinished agenda item to the red – to erase a waiting list of 2,046 parents that want subsidized child care.“In draining our Rainy Day Fund, we have given Wall Street a signal that we can’t manage our business,” D’Allesandro said.
So, the State is facing a $300 mill (or more) deficit, the Democrats are scrambling to find any and all sources of revenues, stealing money from monies that are supposed to be dedicated to other purposes, just to make it look like they are taking care of their fiscal mandate – a balanced budget.
So, is my NH State Senator Sgambati being prudent by blocking the bar door to that teenager, taking away his forged license and calling dear old Dad to come bring his wayward son home to be "smartened up" (and protect Dad’s financial resource)?
Hardly
Instead, she’s just saucily wagged her financial hips in his direction, smiled broadly, batted her eyes, grabbed that teen’s neck – and threw him onto a bar stool. Instead of keeping him from harm, she’s just brought him into the Lion’s Den.
And has done the same to NH taxpayers – problem is, we’re the ones who will have to deal with the hangover – she won’t have to deal with the problem, for she sees November.
