“…playing ping pong with Polidoro…”

Guest post by Dave Horvath who attended the Laconia Town Hall event by Carol Shea-Porter and is responding to Jack Polidoro’s screed (posted here):

Dear Editor:

Obama, the self proclaimed progressive sticks out his chest and says “bring it on.” Who is he challenging? The Taliban? North Korea? Iran? No, it was you and me, John and Mary Citizen. Then the OJT (On the Job Training) President cries foul when we do. When President George Bush showed his machismo he was challenging the enemy.

Pelosi, Reid, and other radical leftist’s in Congress climb the Capitol steps flaunting the self proclaimed victory of passing the Health Care (now) Law. Rubbing the extra constitutional process in the face of all red blooded Americans. The crass local progressive Polidoro provides a community commentary complaining that “We the People” are racists and bigots, in spite of the lack of any corroborating evidence. He suggests that we study General Stark and the true meaning behind “Live Free or Die.” My suggestion would be to study the “progressive movement” and read about their favorite son, Saul Alinsky, to understand the tactics they use. Why else would these elitists knowingly misrepresent the truth? You get extra credit if you go to the viral video “Seven Lies in Two Minutes” by BHO.

Terry Boutin has already taken Polidoro to task on his unfounded rant although I would quibble with Terry and say that the elected majority is sent to Washington to govern, not rule.

Shea-Porter sent out an invite to all of the First Congressional District, at great tax payer cost, for her town hall meeting that can seat a whopping 64 people. Afterwards the local headlines read, “I never hid my intentions on the Health Care vote.” She made no apology for hiding from her constituency for the better part of a year.

I attended this meeting. The next day Polidoro declares that he caught a case of the vapors, a chronic, progressive, leftist disease. He cries that the Laconia Town Hall is a sacred sanctuary only for the “Peoples Progressive Republic of like thinking Polidoro’s. No other first district citizens should enter. Unfortunately unless he currently has health care he will have to wait four more years until Obamacare kicks in for his treatment of this affliction. Like the rest of us he will still pay but get nothing in return until 2014.

The public in attendance patiently listened to Shea-Porter’s plug and play, preprogrammed Pelosi talking points and falsehoods about the Law.  When the Q and A actually took place is when the grumbling occurred. Shea-Porter decided not to be forthright with her constituency. Many in attendance challenged her when she misrepresented the truth and rightfully so. I have not seen Mr. Murphy’s blog or video’s, yet, but I will now that I know they exist. And you should too.

And this is exactly the point. Just as the media repeaters (yes, I intended to say repeaters, not reporters) continue to press the false narrative about those that are outraged by Obama, Pelosi, Reid, the petty Polidoro does the same. Because of the new media and the abundance of recording devices the truth can no longer be hidden, much to the regret of those who wish to control your every thought.

My concern however remains a greater one. Elections are coming and mitigating the damage that has been done is of far more importance than playing ping pong with Polidoro. Greater than ninety percent of Obama’s administrative staff is of people of the mind set of our local progressive ideologues’ like him and Leo Sandy [AKA, known as The Nutty Professor here on the ‘Grok  -Skip]. Glenn Beck has done a wonderful job of exposing Obama’s staffers such as the now departed Van Jones. Some of these staffers hold up Chairman Mao as a personal hero. It is easy to see why this country has fallen so far so fast.

Shea-Porter is in lockstep with this progressivism. We will have the opportunity to fire her soon. BHO has 33 more months to further harm our great country. What will you do to reverse this rampant progressivism?

Sincerely,

David R. Horvath, Sr.
