In today’s chapter of “Democrats Sure Got It Good,” we learn that CBS debate moderator John Dickerson met with all three of the Democrat presidential candidates in advance of Saturday night’s debate. This should come as no surprise to anyone familiar with Dickerson’s background. The “Face The Nation” moderator once urged Obama to “pulverize” and “destroy” and “delegitimize” the Republican Party.
But, objective Journalist, he is to be! Nothing untoward, everything above board. Naw, just stick that “Democrat with a byline” tag on yet another slithering democrat-operative-with-a-tv-show.
Dickerson is a rabid leftwing partisan who is undoubtedly meeting with the Democrat candidates in advance of the debate to ensure he does the least amount of harm to the eventual nominee’s general election chances:
Moderator John Dickerson and his team met with each of three campaigns for over an hour to discuss the major issues at play in the race, sources on the campaigns said, describing the pre-interview as “informational in nature.”
Prior to the CNN debate, the campaigns said moderator Anderson Cooper did not reach out directly to them before the candidates took the stage.
“[Dickerson] and his team were very interested in getting to better know the senator’s stand on a wide spectrum of issues, what he would do about income inequality in this country,” said Sanders spokesman Michael Briggs. He said they discussed issues where there are real differences between the candidates — including gun control, the death penalty and raising taxes on the middle class. “John Dickerson’s a smart, impressive guy who cares a lot about the issues,” Briggs said. “I’m sure we’ll see a smart, issues oriented debate.”

Or most any media. Yeah, silly me – “objective media”; in a pig’s eye. Wonder if he’s gonna do the CNBC debate but in reverse. I’ll be watching the debate anyways but now I’ll probably be watching it from another viewpoint. Follow me on Twitter starting around 9pm.
