You know, if the meme didn’t point it out, I probably wouldn’t have caught on to the irony.
Because, you see, I’m not a fascist liberal #moonbat and I don’t look for the politically-correct opportunity in everything my eyes focus on. I don’t pretend to be the self-enlightened busybody police of other people’s behavior, and I let people be as stupid or wise as they choose to be.
And, it seems, neither do these WWII Navajo Code-Talkers, who served their country with “honor and dignity” – and continue to show that dignity in this photo – as they were honored by the Washington Redskins in November, 2013. Sadly, the last living, original Code-Talker, Chester Nez, died this week.
Of all people, THEY have the right to make a statement about a team name and whether it denigrates or insults.
Apparently, it doesn’t. Sorry #moonbats. You lose again.
