But yet, this is what Progressives do – under the guise that Government MUST do something (or the equally perverse, politicians believing that they MUST DO SOMETHING to demonstrate they actually are of value) when a crisis or terrible event happens as only Government can right such wrongs. They give little to no nod to citizens being able to self-responsibly take care of themselves and those around them. Their world view also believes that ALL risk can eliminated through the judicious use of laws and regulations – and that they can “progress” citizens to a higher plane of being at the same time.
But ponder this: in all cases, Progressives always resort, not with flowers, but with a stick to “lead” you to their desired end point. How respectful is that?
