Love Always Wins? Does it? It’s a slogan North Country Pride flies on their flags, but later this week, when Emoji Nightmare comes to Lancaster, the opposite is true. It’s hate they are bringing in, dressed up, and pretending to be something else entirely.
You might ask yourself, why would a parent want to put their kids near drag queens? The better question is, why do drag queens want to be near kids? And if it is all so ordinary and okay, why did they drop the word “queen” from Drag Queen Story hour?
At first, it reads like an innocent, happy event. “Join Emoji Nightmare and Katniss Everqueer, two of Vermont’s favorite drag queens, as they [as they] share stories and do a craft. Fun for the whole family!” [Warning: Adult Langauge/Topic]
