It seems that RedHampshire fell hook, line and sinker.... - Granite Grok

It seems that RedHampshire fell hook, line and sinker….

UPDATE:  I got an email from Matt, the Managing Editor over at RedHampshire asking if a clarification could be posted – Sure!

Skip,

I saw your post earlier concerning a post that was posted in the Community Section of Red Hampshire this afternoon from one of our users.  I should note that "Red Hampshire" did not fall hook line and sinker for the post at NH Journal.  Rather, it was one of Red Hampshire’s over 400 registered users who wrote that post and in accordance with Red Hampshire policy it was posted without Administrator review.  I hope that clears up the confusion and hope that you will reconsider the title of your post as it reflects the opinion and view of one user within our registered users, from all across the Republican spectrum, of which anyone is allowed to comment and post.

Thanks Skip and please let me know if you have any other questions and I hope this clears up any confusion.

Best,

Matt

=================================================

Got alerted to this post.  Hey Norris, if you didn’t "get" the sarcasm, let me make it a bit easier to understand: that report over at Hynsie’s "NOW!Hampshire-gussied-up" site?

Out of whole cloth

You portray yourselves as the place "for NH Republicans to talk among themselves"; that’s fine and dandy.  We talk to Conservatives, thank you very much, who may be Republicans or not.  Further, we make no distinction between Democrats acting badly or Republicans acting badly.  It may be yours, but it is not our job "to build ALL Republicans up"our mission is to hold them accountable regardless of their name or status within the Party or otherwise.  We thank’em when they do right, and we spank them when they do wrong.  "Building them up" when there is no reason to do so is no different then the self-esteem stupidity in schools that have left so many of our children ill-equipped to cope well in the real world – WHY would I coddle Republicans simply because of Party affiliation?

Can we get along with an 80% or 905er?  Sure.  Someone with an R after their name that votes more in line with Dems than Rs?  No, we’ll let you folks keep embracing and "building them up" (after all, everyone needs a home, including RINOs and Republican Progressives). Just because someone may has an R after their name doesn’t make them pedestal or grovel-worthy.  Treating far too many of that ilk is what got the country and NH into the pickle we’re in.

Unlike a lot of Republicans, we also do not brook or kowtow to Political Correctness Castration – which would IMMEDIATELY eliminate me for any serious consideration for that kind of position.  Of course, if you wish to apply, be my guest and if Shawn Millerick wants to act like it is Halloween and dress up to be Harrell Kirstein (NH Dem. Press dude and uber-PC maven) with faux outrage, he can be my guest as well.

So, no, sorry to ruin your post, but the hackarama over at Hynsie’s place made it all up…could have saved you the time if you had asked…but alas, no one did.
