Imagine my surprise upon seeing this headline:
Lambert shuts down his blog by Shira Schoenberg
Nice to know that I needed the Concord Monitor to realize that I’m no longer blogging…Gee, I’m looking around…I think I’m typing on GraniteGrok…the letters are appearing as I type. Let’s see, I’ll go look to see if I can see the home page – yup – still there.
OK, did Shira send me an email asking if the ‘Grok is closing down? Nope. Check the phone vmail – nada there as well.
Look, I know they may be understaffed, maybe too busy to be able to do a lot of in-depth fact checking, but her headline is rather silly.
Since it seems to be the thing to do lately, how about an apology, Ms. Shoenberg Schoenberg?

Just talked with Shira – who pointed out MY error in the spelling of her last name (now corrected). She was not the one who created the title of the online post (and was not filed in the print edition). It has now been corrected to say "Lambert stops blogging" as opposed to the original headline.
