According to the Observer, State Senator Liz Krueger of Manhattan is so concerned about promoting her gun control agenda that she has proposed a novel idea—pack the NRA with a pro-gun-control “covert cell” to undermine the power of the NRA and change its policies from the inside. Only problem is, she announced her dazzlingly original plan at a public forum and press event, for all the world to see.
Pure genius.
Of course, the progressive left has been so successful at infiltrating our educational system, our local governments, our state governments, and our federal government, I suppose she didn’t expect that this idea would be any less of a win. After all, she’s proposing the exact same tactics—to nefariously send in her troops to infiltrate the enemy’s camp and commence the destruction of said enemy’s camp from the inside. Too bad she didn’t realize that the infiltration process, honed over the course of 80 years of really smart and devious progressives has been necessarily and purposefully coupled with the willful denial by the perpetrators *and* the collusion of an amiable and like-minded media who looks the other way when it is convenient to promote a certain message.
She must have missed that part, or else she thinks that when you’ve won the culture war, there is no further need to keep up false pretenses. That somehow, the NRA’s welcoming gates will be thrown wide open to her troops who are cheerfully delivering the gift horse of destruction.
Yeah, that’ll work.
