She’s transracial… (or is that Trans-Rachel?)
Rachel Dolezal is the head of the NAACP’s chapter in Spokane and is also a part-time professor in the Africana Studies Program at Eastern Washington University.The Spokane Spokesman-Review says that Dolezal described her ethnicity as white, black, and American Indian in an application to be the volunteer chairwoman of the city’s Police Ombudsman Commission, a position to which she was duly appointed.
But Dolezal’s mother, Ruthanne, told the paper that the family’s actual ancestry is Czech, Swedish, and German, along with some “faint traces” of Native American heritage.
Rachel Dolezal did not immediately respond to her mother’s claim when contacted by the Spokesman-Review, first saying “I feel like I owe [the NAACP] executive committee conversation” about what she called a “multi-layered issue.”
She’s like an onion, or an Ogre.
“That question is not as easy as it seems. There’s a lot of complexities … and I don’t know that everyone would understand that.” Later, she said, “We’re all from the African continent,” an apparent reference to scientific studies tracing the origin of human life to east Africa.
I think we just found Liz Warrens running mate.
Oh, how much better would it be if Trans-Rachel was also a guy!?
The left would piss-itself into a collective dehydration coma. All would be forgiven.
But her options are limited. Blonde Spokane Barbie selling herself as Christie (the first African-American ‘Barbie Doll’) might be a hate crime no matter how hard she “sells” the East African angle. The tolerant left will be burning social-media crosses in her digital front yard. The media lynching will be epic. But if she (he) announces that she is really a he, s/he could have a show on HBO and a book deal before breakfast.
But why does it have to come to that? Who are we to say that she hasn’t always felt like an African American trapped in the body of suburban white girl. Someone who simply had the “courage” to pursue those feelings to their logical conclusion.
They might buy it.
If she shows up on Entertainment Tonight to the crowing support of vapid Hollywood “gossip-mongers” we’ll know she has pulled it off. If not, she can always pitch a taxpayer funded grant for a degree program in Transracial Studies at almost any American university.
As long as she votes Democrat, she has options.
